Vaibhav Suryavanshi is a 14-year-old Indian youth, who was born on 27 March 2011 in Motipur village of Samastipur district of Bihar. Vaibhav Suryavanshi aspired to mature into an exceptional cricketer. He began playing cricket when he was quite young . Vaibhav Suryavanshi played his first IPL match for Rajasthan Royals on 19 April 2025 against Lucknow Super Giants at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, in which he created a new world record in the world of cricket. He scored 100 runs in 30 balls. And with his brilliant performance, he has emerged rapidly in the world of cricket. Vaibhav is the youngest player in IPL. Vaibhav was acquired by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 1.1 crore during the 2025 auction.
Family
Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s family is middle class. His family consists of his mother, father, sister and elder brother. His father is Sanjeev Suryavanshi, who once wanted to become a cricketer and his mother, who supports him a lot in his cricket career and wakes up at 4 in the morning to cook food for him. He also has an elder brother who is handling his father’s work. His grandmother, Usha Singh, is also very happy with his success.
His parents have sacrificed a lot to fulfill his cricket dream. His father even sold land so that Vaibhav’s dream of becoming a cricketer could be fulfilled.

He is a student of class 9 at Dr. Mukteshwar Sinha Modesty School in Tajpur, Bihar. His father Sanjeev Suryavanshi told in an interview that Vaibhav wakes up in the morning and goes to tuition, but his entire focus remains on cricket. A person should do whatever he is interested in. That is why his father does not put much pressure on him to study.
Record
Vaibhav Suryavanshi Record is the fastest Indian to score a century in T20. He made the record of the fastest Indian batsman to score a century in T20 cricket by scoring a century in just 35 balls against Gujarat Titans in IPL 2025. He created history in the world of cricket. Vaibhav Suryavanshi also broke the record of a big player like Yusuf Pathan who scored a century in 37 balls .However, this statement is incorrect as of my last update.
While Chris Gayle holds the record for the fastest century in IPL history (30 balls) after which, Vaibhav’s century is the second fastest century in IPL history. Vaibhav Suryavanshi became the youngest batsman to score a century in T20 cricket. He became the Indian batsman to hit the most sixes in an IPL innings and has also made many other records like hitting the most sixes in a run chase.
